ok i got the game Sniper ghost warrior and updated it and everything and for some reason no matter how low or high the graphics are set to it still lags my specs are

Pentium(R) Dual-Core CPU E5400 @ 2.70GHz (i know slow processer but still more than enough to play this game on all high settings)

Memory RAM 4.00 GB

ATI Radeon HD 5670

Windows 7 Home Premium 64 Bit

i set all the graphics to really low and the resolution to 640x400 (i think) and it still lags like crazy then i set the graphical settings to super high and the resolution to 1600x900 it still lags just as much if i can run Crysis 1,2, and warhead on extreme settings with resolution at 1600x900 then i should be able to play this game no problem right?

Solution
You should, but this is PC Gaming - come on

In serioussness, I don't see why you'd have a problem with your specs.

I suggest you follow these basic steps:

1 - Check that all your drivers are up-to-date and that your games are fully patched.

2 - Run virus, malware and spyware scans.

3 - Defragment your drives.

4 - Roll the game back to the previous patch.

5 - Uninstall the game and try a fresh re-install.

6 - Download HW Monitor and tell us what GPU/CPU temperatures your PC reaches during the game.

Good luck :)

Solution
well all my drivers are up to date i recently ran virus scans and i bought a fan recently that keeps my pc almost too cold but i fixed it anyway it turns out there was still an update that i forgot to apply and then i edited some things in mscofig startup and restarted my computer which got rid of lag completely running smooth as crysis thanks anyways
