So at the end, did Watch Dogs really needed the i7 processor?

Did it really use Hyper threading? Was it really necessary or will it run ok with and i5?

i7 for ultra, i5 probably for med to high

Well I put the game on ultra on the rig in my signature, and my CPU usage graphs showed all 8 threads being utilized, but total CPU usage was at about 40-50%. So i don't think its necessary.
