Hi,

So I have a client who wants to make a pc specifically for his storage requirements and he want 50tb storage on his pc.

I want to ask how can you do that? or is it even possible?

CPU options I have: Ryzen 2600 / 3600

10500, 10600K 10700K

Sure, it's simple. Buy an NAS box or get an Adaptec 8805 (with two 4 SATA fan cables) and 8 big (like 12-14TB depending on the best deal at the time) WD/HGST HDDs in RAID 6. But you need a full tower case. Not cheap but plenty of storage.

edit: I used 14TB SAS drives (at $254 ea) for a similar build recently but then you need two different fan cables (SAS instead of SATA), bought the the Adaptec on EBay new out of Hong Kong.
