Question So for my new LED TV, VA panel for sure since I like good contrast and viewing angle is straight on?

My basic 50" LG VA panel finally got a black screen after 6 years

So in the market for another basic LED that is good, not great. I noticed my parents 65" IPS LG is amazing at angled but upon closer inspection dark scenes are VERY hard to make out and blacks are not good


So after a few days of research I see Samsung 55-65" and Hisense have VA panels, LG only has 50" at VA


Any one want to comment about my situation, what I should look at? Mostly watching old movies, TV shows, and maybe gaming eventually but I do not need OLED tech for that nor 120 Hz either. I sit around 7.5 feet away
