So I downloaded the iso,burned it, booted it, now it says my model doesn't match! But it does!

the only reason I'm here doing this is because I'm trying to install Windows 7 onto this empty disk but windows says it can't see the drivers for this disk: please provide on some form of media. So yeah, after the googling the model # that I got off the drive I get this firmware update but it won't install, says no match on the model #! Seems to match to me! Any suggestions?

That is not a normal windows error message. What and where did you get the iso?

In your BIOS, what SATA mode are you using (RAID, AHCI, or IDE)? If RAID, Windows will require additional drivers.

I misunderstood. You should not have to update the firmware. Sata mode should be set to ahci.
