This is honestly the first time Ive done this, I know the basics about backing up my exsisting bios and putting it on a flash drive but I need to know, which version should I be updating too? http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=5916#bios Should I stay away from the beta's? basically my issue is that my fans switch to max speed whenever there is a bit of load on the card when I start a game, the temps stay around 34-45 degrees but the fans go at about 3000 RPM, I was told it was an issue with the BIos, so I want to see if I can fix the issue, so for my problem which download would be the safest one? Also I have updated to the latest video driver, and have had no other issues other than this fan speed, which I am able to mitigate by using the extreme gaming utility to manually clock the fan speeds with a profile. I'm just scared of my fans going out of control the day I forget to switch on the software :/

Yes I read over that, its for the GTX 1080, there are only 2 selections available in that bios, where as the 1070 has 4, I just want to make sure that I don't cause more issues.

I think I figured out the issue, I unplugged one of my fans that was connected to my mobo for power and now I can run games without the fans going out of control..
