[SOLVED] So I think i really messed up.....

So i built a computer a few days ago, and today i downloaded a trojan by accident. Now i THINK i got rid of it, since ive run multiple scans by now and got rid of all the malicious stuff, but now im experiencing really bad minimum frames in my games. Like in csgo, where may frames never dipped below 150, suddenly im getting 20 frames. I really don't know what to do now. i have a r5 3600 and a 1660 super.

Format and reinstall.

Best thing to do is format the drive and reinstall everything. No way to guarantee you have completely removed it and as you are now having performance issues it is likely it is not 100% removed.

I know how to install windows, but i didnt understand how to reinstall it on a drive that already has it. Thanks for your response

The tutorial linked above tells you how to delete the previous partitions as part of the installation process. This will remove all vestiges of your current installation.

Reinstall windows. If you have a flash drive, use it with the media creation tool.
