I downloaded windows 11 and I realized that I forgot to turn on secure boot so I went and set it up and when I restarted my pc It refused to boot at all one of my friends said I gotta reset my bios by removing the cmos battery but is there any reason as to why the pc doesn't want to boot? I really don't want to go back to windows 10

Solution
I had a feeling you might say Gigabyte

Steps to enable (all AMD-based Gigabyte mobos) Secure Boot. Make sure fTPM is enabled. Make sure CSM is disabled. In Secure Boot, select custom under Secure Boot Mode, Select Restore Factory Keys, Say YES to reset without saving.

When BIOS restarts, access BIOS and change Secure Boot Mode back to Standard and then Yes to restart without save.

Let Windows boot fully.

Use msinfo to verify that Secure Boot State is on.

Did you try removing the battery to clear CMOS?

Solution
i think its the way you clear the key that causes the problem.

I have an Aorus X570 on win 11, no secure boot on yet. I expect if I ever clean install I will have to set it up.

its possible flashing the BIOS again could clear it.
