Well my link didn't work but you can click the boxes on the 9800 gt and the 4670 and hit compare and it will give you a number of bench marks together on one page. The 9800 GT is around 50% faster.

well, as I said in another thread, I currently have a radeon x1950 pro and the thing gets so hot it shuts down all the time and I think it's because it really can't handle black ops and BFBC2, and the, like very well. My budget is as little as I can get away with. I just need 'some' sort of an upgrade to tide me over until the time comes when I can upgrade my entire system otherwise It'll be bottle-neck city for me

I wouldn't get anything less than a 5670/6670. Maybe 5770/6770 if you have the ~$100 for it. You're going to be disappointed with a 4670 or 9800gt. But to answer your question, the 9800gt is more powerful than 4670. But it's old tech. Look for something newer.

Or get a gts 440 for $99.99 after $20 MIR from Microcenter. Or a 520 if your psu can't handle a 440. A 440 will get MUCH better gaming performance though.
