[SOLVED] So I'm moving from a hard disk drive to an ssd but I dont know if this is the right ssd to go with.

So I'm moving from a hard disk drive to an ssd but I dont know if this is the right ssd to go with.
This may seem like a stupid question but I'm not that good with storage components so if a professional could clarify that this is a good ssd which is reliable and will do the job changing from my hdd. I'm asking this because this ssd is cheaper than the others with alot more storage and it has no reviews.

I am not familiar with that brand. I would recommend an MX500 for a low cost, but KNOWN performance and reliability choice.

I would get that but however this ssd is cheaper than that and it also has more storage which is why I'm struggling to choose

Cheaper with an unknown brand with no reviews is NOT the recipe for long term success. This is the primary storage for your system. Cheap is not what you want to be, IMO.

I have 4 Crucial MX500's and a Samsung 850 EVO in various PCs and I can strongly recommend them.
I would Not buy an unknown brand.

I seen some reviews on another website about the same ssd and it seems reliable and it also has 3 years warranty

The Samsung EVO 860 and Crucial MX500's have a 5 year warranty.
So that alone should tell you that they are a higher quality drive than the one you linked to.
And £98.50 for the 1 TB or £64.17 for a 500 GB MX500 is a good deal.

It's cheap for a reason.

You'll be living with this drive for several years. Now is not the time to pinch pennies.
