So im torn between two motherboards

I was wondering if any of you could give me a little help on what would be a be a good gaming motherboards.
1 - Z87-K Socket LGA 1150 ATX Intel Motherboard
2 - Z77 Extreme4 Socket LGA 1155 Z77 ATX Intel Motherboard

The LGA1150 is home for the 4th gen cpu's
while LGA1155 are for the 3rd gen cpu's

If you are staying with your current CPU then i suggest to go with Z77 Extreme4 Socket LGA 1155 Z77 ATX Intel Motherboard because that is the only board that would fit your current CPU.

If you will be upgrading to another CPU which is an LGA1150 then get Z87-K Socket LGA 1150 ATX Intel Motherboard. If not LGA1150 then Z77 Extreme4 Socket LGA 1155 Z77 ATX Intel
