That should be no issue at all but when and where are you seeing this message? Have you got SATA based HD's or SSD's connected as well as the NVMe?

When you connect a NVMe to the M.2 port you can then connect standard HD's and SSD's to the following Sata ports:
SATA3 0
SATA3 1
SATA3 2
SATA3 3

But you cannot use the ASATA ports which are near the middle and just under the 24 pin power connector on the right side of the motherboard:
ASATA3 0
ASATA3 1

For 1200, all you need to change is to go with slightly slower SSD and ram, which will only marginally affect performance.

If you intend to game the 3600 may be a better buy than the 2700 or 2700x.

I have dropped the price a bit by going for the 1TB Intel 660P NVMe which is more than good enough and fast enough. I have upped the quality of the power supply to the EVGA G3 650w Gold as that is one area I would not cheap out on and the G3 is fantastic and the memory is much cheaper unless you have already bought the memory:

Dropping to the 2700 is not worth it as it is only a £8 difference though if this is a pure gaming build you can save more by going for the 2600 which will still do a great job but save a lot more and the later upgrade to a 3600.

With a 3600 it would only be about £11 more but the motherboard would need a BIOS update but it would be a nice performance boost.

one question how does one go about doing a BIOS update? and i havent bought anything yet
edit: thanks allot on the budgeting help and i am gonna buy this stuff on black friday any tips?

No problems at all. The Gigabyte B450 X motherboard will need to be flashed with the F40 or above BIOS but I do no think it has a flashback without a CPU so you will need someone with an older Ryzen CPU to help you with that. Some of the MSI motherboards like the great MSI B450 Tomahawk does have a flashback without having a CPU installed.

Let me come back to you on this after a bit of research or hopefully some of the good Ryzen users on here can jump in with advice on this..

As to Black Friday tips...If you see a X570 motherboard cheap!!! grab it as no bios issues on those for the 3600 and in general, just try to get the best deals you can on the RAM, NVMe and motherboard. ....you have a base to work from with the pricing provided above and usually there are some great deals...best of luck...

Heres how to get a bootkit.
https://www.amd.com/en/support/kb/faq/pa-100

If you dont want to get a bootkit due to the time it takes, opt for an MSI -MAX motherboard.

All MSI -MAX models will work with the 3600 without any pesky bios updates. The atx MAX boards are a tiny bit more pricy than the Gigabyte board you listed, however they are guarenteed to work.

Here are 2 ATX motherboards that will work without the bios needing to be updated.

If you dont mind m-atx, this one is a very budget oriented board that doesnt need the bios updated to work.
