Solution
what do u mean matched kit i dont understand, my ram is 2 8GB 3200MHz sticks same manufacturer if thats what u mean.

1 more thing if i go 3000MHz do u think it would crash?
Did the RAM come in a single package/kit? RAM bought separately even the same make and model is not guaranteed to work together without issues.

You can try 3000 MHz, no guarantees it will work. The other thing you can try is increasing the DRAM voltage in the BIOS. If you try 1.400v and then 3000 and 3200 it might help. If it does help then try reducing the voltage by 0.010v at a time until you have problems. You are looking for the lowest stable voltage.

Was the RAM bought as a matched kit or was it 2 separate individual sticks?

I have read that with the 2000 series some people did have issues getting above 2933/3000mhz. A BIOS update could help.

Which slots are the memory sticks in? On that board you want them in the A2/B2 slots and from there all you should need to do is enable XMP.
its in A2/B2, the problem is when ram is on 3200MHz my games would just run fine for 5 mins then crash.
If i set it 2400MHz which i am using now everything is fine but the additional 10-20 FPS from 3200MHz is kinda crucial since i play FPS games with 144Hz monitor

Yes its on A2/B
PSU model?
just some local Gladias 80+ PSU, 4 years old i think. Might be the problem but i still wanna see what i can do to get 3200MHz without spending money for another PSU

And i wont be able to go out for idk how long because coronavirus lockdown

Did you try setting to 3066?

My son's PC has PC3200 RAM, the motherboard will support even faster speeds, and he's running a 1600 AF chip (more or less a 12nm, downclocked 2600), but it isn't stable at 3200. Needed to use memtest86 to confirm that, and to confirm that setting to 3066 would work.

Set it down to 3066, and run memtest86 (the test will take a long time). If it passes with ZERO errors, then you're good to go at that speed.

The difference you'll see gaming between 3066 and 3200 will probably be imperceptible.
