Question So tired of this 24" Desktop display. How large a Screen can i go?

Hey y'all; now that I've upgraded my PC, can't i now buy myself a larger screen? I'd like a 32". I will be gaming Witcher 3, fallout 4, Wolfenstein the new colossus, i.e. Also will watch videos that I stream from various sites; the videos may be 480 , 720 or 1080P, i do not even know but hoping the large screen won't make my movie watching less sharp. Also, i will need all the help i can get with reading text on the screen. On my 23"acer 1080P, i let windows "make everything bigger" setting. Could i use windows for this aspect thing on a larger monitor as well?
If 32" is out of the question then what? 27"? I'm really dumb about this stuff so hoping for some suggestions. Thanks

32" is probably the biggest I would go.

Thank you. I think we'll get a 32" and test it, then return if not happy; Or, we may get a 27", like you have, and still have an improvement on this 24. Thanks again
