I been playing it since it came out on file planet. After these few days of
playing. I 'm really starting to like it. I just wish we had more map. I
will be buying it when it come out. I can't wait for all the custom maps
and mods. I'm sure some one will make a Tribes 2 mod for the people that
don't like this version. So let me know what you think.

I guess I have no choice but to wait for the final thing. :/

I've been playing it for a few hours now. It doesn't quite give me that same
feel tribes1 did , but it was alot closer than t2 IMHO. I hate to beat a
dead horse but this beta is ALOT better than when t2 was at this stage...or
even months after it's release. Bottom line...I like it.

It is on the wall in a small square box with green markings. An electrical
bolt will show up under the cursor while on it, and I think it is called
emergency repair pack. It is multiple use. The only thing that is single
use is the med pack dropped by dead players, and it is used at the moment
you pick it up. There is also a repair device that can be deployed on the
ground. Get within its radius and it automatically repairs you. Put it
close enough to turrets and it keeps them repaired automatically.

Well, you can get the file here:
http://www.bittah.com/

And there's probably keygens all over the place now.

Is it piracy if they proclaim an open, public beta?

Thanks, but Windows-based stuff is pretty useless for me.

Oh - the repair pack, as in the similar one to the old repair pack?

I've seen and have been using that regularly. I got the impression there
was something similar to the old medpack or whatever - the single use jobby
to heal you that you could have in addition to a backpack.

As far as I can tell, the repair pack from the "emergency station" (great
idea btw) is a backpack and so cannot be used with a different load out?

TribalWar threads didn't know whether it was stat tracking or team
membership. I turned off the latter and it stopped happening to me.

Grab your load out, then grab the repair pack from the emergency station,
and you can switch back and forth between packs. Key 4 will be your epack
etc, and 5 the repair pack. Nice thing about this repair pack is you are
still holding your weapon while it is activated and you can still fire it.

Must be Team membership... I have the former on, but not the latter, and
don't have that SPECIFIC problem on my list.

Also, isn't it annoying that it's not a "tribe" membership, considering the
name of the series?
