So which SSD is the best right now?

I need another SSD for my computer. Storage really isn't my strong point.

The Samsung 840 EVO is very good for the price. Minimum 120GB if you're using on Windows.

I'm using a OCZ Vertex 4 that I got over a year ago. It''s 120GB, so whatever I get next needs to be better.

as of now, the best is the 840 evo and then after that the crucial mx100....the crucial is slightly cheaper and even though the 840 evo is superior when carrying out video editing, running virtual machines and tasks similar, the mx100 has faster windows 7 boot up times and 'feels' slightly faster. So, the 840 evo if you have the budget, otherwise the mx100 for slightly cheaper

That's not a bad SSD. Replacing it won't yield much performance. The best is still the Samsung 840 Pro editions.

I don't plan to replace it. I'm just looking to add more space.
