Just got a BRAND NEW 1day old asus UX31A ultrabook.... and this is what shows up 🙁 (no, it's not dust/debris.)

think this would qualify for a LCD replacement if i sent it to them? anyone had experience with Asus repair service in general before?

Just send the whole laptop back under warranty if it is faulty in anyway.
Four or more dead pixels on the screen grant you to return the product back to asus under RMA.

It will state that in the warranty policy if you go through it.

Hey sorry guys, I updated the pic with a direct link. They look like dead pixels to me but just wanted to make sure..... they are unlike what I've seen before, the way they are blotched like that.

And i actually went through the warranty policy, and it says they have a 30-day zero bright dot guarantee but couldn't find any information on # of dead pixels

Doesn't matter what their pixel policy says, it is defective and should be replaced esp[especially fresh out of a box !

Most dead pixel policies limit the number but I see more than a dozen-far more than would be required to meet any requirement for a RMA.
