Hi, my Gigabyte H87 motherboard is dead, and i need a replacment. I want a socket 1150 board with the Z87 or Z97 chipset. And with as many fan headers as possible. (Preferably 4+, and a header for the pump and cpu cooler), so 6 total or more. My prefered brand would be another Gigabyte, but im ok with other brands.

I personally would recommend the MSI Z87 GD65 as it matches your colour scheme but also it has 5 fan headers 2 cpu and 3 system.
Hi there,
I would recommend just using a 4 MOLEX adapter to a 4/3 pin fan header adapter from the PSU itself.
As this allows for a higher voltage.
But, if you want to monitor the fans and adjust the RPM e.t.c. Then you will need to have the fan headers.
As most of them support 5 or more ( For example: http://uk.msi.com/product/mb/Z87GD65_GAMING.html#hero-specification )
It depends on what you want to use the system for as features and practicality is far more important than fan control as you can just directly connect it via the PSU.

Red and black is preferred, but i don't really care what colour scheme. Ive found another that is the Gigabyte Z97X Gaming 7, which has 4 fan headers. And one for CPU fan, and one for the pump.
