socket temps too high for comfort

AMD FX9590 unlocked cooled by corsair H100i mounted on ASUS M5A99FX pro 2.0 with 32GB corsair 1866mhz RAM in sentay burton series extended atx case powered by rosewill 1300 watt psu
2x 250gb SSD 6x 2TB HDD
Radeon R9 295x2 GPU
10 case fans
Hi I have a problem keeping my socket temps down and my chip is underclocked to 4.3.
according to CPUID HWmonitor my min socket temp is 42c maxing so far at 56c while my core temp stay fairly cool at 19c maxing at 35c
Is there any suggestions to lower my socket temp so I can run the chip at 4.7 without worring about cooking the MOBO??

your socket temps are fine. 56c is 132F. that wont cook any motherboard. and you are below amd 60c mark. honestly this is a lot cooler then ive seen anyone else with a 9590 run at. most people are having issues getting them to run below 80c.

I am running the CPU at 4.3ghz = 21.5 x 200.7mhz @ 1.5125v
I don't know a whole lot about computers and this is my first build and first time ever having to adjust settings in the UEFI
I still have stability errors when running OCCT after about 50mins into the test and I don't even know what the error is. I am still trying to learn more about it so I can further tweak the settings to be more optimal. So far the system runs lightning fast without crashing or hanging and I can play games like Skyrim with ENB and over 700 mods added and the witcher3 also heavily modded with zero issues and good FPS. I still greatly appreciate any givin advice from experts as I have along way to go to have a stable system

well the only way to lower the socket temp down, and good practice anyways is to make sure you have a fan that blows air into the socket area as going to liquid cooling reduces air flow over them compared to an air cooler. I actually attached a small fan (from a old intel pent. cpu) to my voltage regulator heat sink and it blows air over them and some of that air goes over the cpu socket area(if i get time ill post a pic of what i mean by this).

also make sure your fan speeds are set correctly because my asus defaulted to running the cpu fan at 100% @ 85c which is not aggressive enough.

also i ignored corsairs recommendation on my h105 and ran my radiator fans to blow the air out of the case because my radiator sits right above the cpu socket area so i didn't want it to actually blow hot air into my case. this lowered my case temp some and seemed to help my temps stay lower (even though it means its using slightly warmer case air to reduce the cpu temp down)

just wondering what did the motherboard show your default voltage for your cpu at? before you started adjusting the freq down?
have you tried running prime95 stress test?

The MOBO automatically wants to run it at 5.1mhz 1.5v cant remember what the multiplier was for that ratio. Also ran my 1866 RAM at 1300mhz with changed timings according to what the RAM is supposed to be timed at. That was optimized default settings in the bios. To make it run decently I had to manually set the multiplier to 21.5 changed the CPU frequency to 200 and RAM at 300 with voltage set at 1.475.
I tried many times to get it to run at base 4.7mhz without any luck. Also tried AI suite auto overclocking tool as well as AMD overdrives auto clocking feature without any working results.
I used AMD Overdrive stress test and failed within 3 mins of runtime. Had a better run using OCCT @ 42mins before getting an error that I still don't know what the error was it gave no description and I have not been able to get help from the website as it has been in maintenance since I installed the program.
With the current settings the system does respond fast and seems to run smoothly playing heavily modded games without any lag or system crashes and I am okay with leaving it as it is but would like to run the base 4.7mhz if possible.
I am not sure if it is possible to fully stabilize the system at this point. I was kinda hopeing someone with the 9590 could share the BIOS settings with me to see what needs to be set to have a semi stable system.

"RAM at 300 with voltage set at 1.475" highly abnormal ram timings. most will ram that should be used with this system should be running a 200mhz base clock with a 1.5-1.65 volts. not knowing your exact ram part number I cannot say more. low ram voltages can cause issues though (if its low)

if you go into your bios and load default settings this is what you should get (minus ram settings as I don't know what the correct values are without the part number) but it should have a AMP or XMP profile to select that sets it for the correct 1866mhz, you really shouldn't have to set the values manually.

next start system and make sure it works.

without changing the clock speed lower the cpu voltage down a little and run your stress test. (if system is stable for a few min then drop the voltage another tick and repeat.) do this till cpu is unstable. then go back up a tick or two and run your stress test for a longer period of time to check stability

when droped your freq down but did not decrease the cpu voltage at all so your really still running a lot hotter then you could be at the lower feq because your still providing the cpu power for running at a higher freq.

I did as you suggested however the BIOS wants to default at absurd settings that dont make any since and run highly unstable. I set to manual and raised the multiplier to 23 while lowering the voltage to 1.452v while leaving the NB frequency at 2200 and HT frequency at 2600. The Kingston Fury HyperX is default 1.5v @ 10-11-10 1866mhz however for some reason I only found stability at these settings by adjusting the timing to 11-11-11
So far I have run Prime95 all night with no issues and temps not exceeding 69c (CPU) 44c (MOBO) 48c (socket)
I have launched every system taxing game I have one by one while running as many background programs as possible to see if it would lag,stutter,bottleneck or crash but it never once showed signs of fault and gameplay was amazing at 60.5-72fps. I am happy with these results as far as I am concerned my issues have all been resolved. I never intended to OC this chip as 4.7 is more than enough for what I use the system for. glad you are happy. again those are better temps then I've seen anyone else with a fx 9xxx model get.

also 11-11-11 will make no noticeable performance difference with your ram vs 10-11-10.
