Hi,
I recently upgraded my cooler to a Noctua NH-U9B SE2 so I can overclock. I have successfully achieved a stable overclock of 3.92 GHz, but under full load, I get a socket temp of 65 deg and 50deg on idle (25deg ambient temp). I am assuming that this is a thermal paste issue or is this normal?
My set up is
Processor : fx8320e @ 3.92Ghz
Cooler: Noctua NH-U9B SE2
Video Card: GV-N960OC-4GD Gigabyte - GeForce GTX 960 4GB Video Card
Ram: 8GB ddr3 (4x4) 1866MHz Kingston - HyperX Fury Black
Motherboard : 970a-ds3p fx 2.0
