Im trying to upgrade my CPU to maximise its performance to my standards to be able to run games of my liking. And ive been wondering how i could do it, so i visited intel site a couple of times to find out what socket type my processor is, and wouldnt tell me so ill looked on another forum and found it by downloading the app CPU-Z, and it said "package-----Socket 989 rPGA"
And intel and a couple of youtube videos said it DEPENDS on the socket type on which processor you can install. And it said (this is the list of processors i would like) i5 580 i5 560 i5 540
and i7's like i7 720qm 740qm and i was wondering is this right and if not what is the recommended up grades for this socket type...thnx
also if u look at this picture do i have to take apart my whole laptop to change the processor or do i just proceed as any other normal person...http://prntscr.com/e8b650
