I'm having a little trouble finding a program to change my fsb. I have a dell machine with mobo that is a make of intels mobo and ofcourse doesn't have any option in bios to change the fsb. Can anyone out there help me out? What do I need to look for to intentify the chipset properly?

I'm sorry to break the new to you... but you probably have jumpers on your motherboard for that. Nothing software like, all hardware. Which is why you don't have those settings in your bios.

There aren't any jumpers for it. The bios dectects what cpu is in it and sets the fsb and multiplier and there is no way to change it manually. I heard about the ability of changing the fsb by software and want to try it. can anyone point me where I can find those?

HERE is a link to a page listing a soft fsb program explaination and download. They also have a lot of tweaking programs under utilities. I have not tried any. good luck
