Soft Quadro

I'm looking for advice on the Nvidia Soft Quadro mod for my Geforce, if anyone has done this already, please speak.

I'm still deciding but I think I'm going to get a FireGL X1 256 from the University (at great disc.) over the summer/fall once I'm done with my gaming rig.
