[SOLVED] Softs, Games & Windows Utilities are installed on SSD but whenever I launch them, Windows does something weird!

Hi, I have 2 SSD WD 750SN 500GB, 1 SSD ADATA 500GB. My windows and softs are installed on SN750, games are installed on Adata SSD. The weird thing that my windows is doing is when I run softs and games, all of my 3 HDD (Seagate 3TB, WD 2TB, HTGS 4TB) shaking themselves for no reason. (just the first time after restart) ?

For example:
I run CCleaner (installed on WN750 SSD), just a tiny bit delay, the program itself not fast open, I hear very fast metal noise from HDD (like the soft itself runs from slow HDD)
When I double click on LOL (installed on SSD Adata) to run, all of my HDDs again shakes itselfs. Then after finishing choosing champions to loading screen, again all of them shake (like files are reading from HDD).

I already disable window search index, superfetch, pagefile, system restore, windows defender and other anti virus programs.
There is no Disk Activity on these HDD when I monitor or Resource. Seems that Windows tries to search or scan files from HDD first before access files on SSD ?

right click start
choose disk management
open next window and show all details of upper and bottom area
take a screenshot and upload to an image sharing website

page file is useful, if you get any BSOD and don't have a page file, you won't get any crash dumps and its difficult to identify error causes without them.

can run windirstat and see if any hidden windows files on drive - https://windirstat.net/

You have 2 EFI partitions, the EFI is the drive the PC boots off. I wonder what BIOS is looking at.
Disk 2 which is C drive has 1 EFI
Disk 6 has the other.

Disk 6's size makes no sense. how do you have 4657.53gb space on any of these hdd spaces unless its a raid volume with 1tb of a 3tb drive added on to the 4tb?
all of my 3 HDD (Seagate 3TB, WD 2TB, HTGS 4TB)
3 ssd = disks 0 to 2
3 hdd - Disk 3 to 5
what is Disk 6?

the unknown file is only 671mb, not all that big

okay, not sure why its got one on an external drive but anyway, it doesn't seem related.

I can't see any system files on the drive you highlighted - (G)

what motherboard do you have? could be you need to update drivers, since it makes all 3 drives shake. I only have 1 hdd in case so not enough to notice it do anything at startup (I boot off nvme)

I am using asus z490 prime. I updated vga driver, mainboard driver + intel driver + storage driver. Should I reinstall my Windows ? I dont hear this noise when I run chkdsk or s.m.a.r.t on the hdd

is that from the G drive? it sounded like a click. if its just one it might be okay but I would run this on it

Hitachi HDD section got bought by Western Digital, so you should be able to run the short and long tests on it - https://support.wdc.com/downloads.aspx?lang=en&p=279

as you don't want to hear clicks from hdd.
can obviously test the other WD drive and maybe ssd though I doubt they need it.
As for Seagate - https://www.seagate.com/au/en/support/downloads/seatools/seatools-win-master/
yes it is from the G drive (Seagate). The "clicking" sound is actually very loud than what I record. I will run program you provide and feed back:D
The funny thing is when I install seatool on my ssd, all of my HDD vibrate and spin like it is being installing on HDD :D

its possible seatools checks the installed drives when its installed, just to see what they are. I don't have a Seagate hdd in this PC so I can't tell.

I saw your other question about the drive, its probably a good idea to backup anything on that drive you don't want to lose.

yes i removed the clicking hdd and my pc is very quiet now :D, I will try to reset window entirely :D did you ever seen explorer.exe read file itself even that I did not open it ? I still dont know why resource monitor shows that explorer.exe is reading files from my G and H drive i never open it from start up https://ibb.co/tXh4FgT

it appears its linked to certain videos on those drives, one which is in the Xiao Mi folder, so that could be why it checks them.

you can use a program called process monitor to see what is actually using those files - https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/downloads/procmon
yes I ran process monitor before I post the thread but whenever I use it resource monitor does not show anything like this. I think only if I leave my PC idle. I did not open video from xiao mi folders and relax music folder, and i still dont know why RM run it :D
I already reset my window completely, no fix at all. RM again getting wrong path of my OS drive (show I:\3 instead of C:\, Drive I is another SSD partition)

I don't know what its doing there, but instead of resetting, why not clean install win 10 but only have the 1 ssd you want win 10 on when you install. Then once it boots from that, reattach the other drives as then you have some control over what's going on. After the clean install windows won't use any of the folders on the drives until you take ownership.
