hello everyone.ive not long ago rebuilt my pc with an msi z270 gamming m7 board and i must say,its pretty good board paired with a 6600k.before i installed my cpu into the motherboard,i didnt really bother checking for bent pins(when i shouldve had).so i was wondering,is there a way to check for bent mobo pins other than looking at it physically?i heard that cpus can still function despite having certian pins bent but could also cause some unkown issues in the longrun.so i was wondering if theres any good software that can detect bent mobo pins just to make that everythings functioning properly.

Solution
From one of my systems, a couple of months ago:

Bent motherboard pins
Before - No boot

After - boot success

No, there is no software for that. Mark 1 Eyeball wetware is the tool to use.

And as far as functioning?
It might not be until next month when the CPU uses a particular function that goes through that specific pin.

Why do you suspect a pin is pre bent?

There is no specified 'symptom' other than something working not quite right, or not at all.

Yes, this is true.
It may cause issues later.
But only if they are actually bent.

Do you have reason to think that one or more is actually bent?

not really.I just wanted to know the symptoms just incase that happens in the future.i had back luck with previous mobos with different issues and had to rma them so many times.so i guess this time i might be abit paranoid.
