Could someone please assist me in re-establishing my RAID 1 setup.

Both drives indicated Dynamic.
One was identified as “Disk2” and the other as “Missing”, Failed.
Checked the Missing disk and found it had data on it but of course less than the main drive.
Reformatted the missing failed RAID drive.
But right clicking on the reformatted, Dynamic, Healthy drive, it does not allow selection of the Add Mirror.. option.

What do I need to do to re-establish a RAID 1.
I only have experience setting up RAID 1 with new drives.

Background
Installed 2 brand new identical HD and set them up as RAID 1.
Lasted for a long time, until one day, I happen to check the Disk Manager to find that Redundancy had failed.
I have been backing up my data on regular basis to a third external drive.

Since one of my drives was up to date and the other failed mirroring, once I deleted the volume on the failed mirror the option to mirror became active. So, basically, the good data set was rewritten to the second drive and everything looks good for now.
I'm still continuing to back up externally as required.
