software that gives individual access codes/passwords to access desktop

im looking for software that locks computer after a period of time and then it requires a password to get back on desktop. the thing is that i want each person to have their own password. i can not find anything like this. this would restrict access to computer to only certain people but w/o creating individual user accounts. can this be done.please help.

That's what the user accounts are there for. The lock screen is only for the current logged in user.

yes, but then another person has to have your password to unlock screen. if they switch user instead of unlocking screen then it brings them to their desktop when they need my desktop.

What you ask for does not exist. You want separate logins but not individual accounts, that's not how Windows works.

ok thank you, i was wishing there might be a piece of simple software out there as remote desktop software does with guest logins but on a local use.
