Question Software to easily overlay a table over a image

Hi,

I have an excel spreadsheet that creates a league table and I want to be able to copy and paste this table over an A4 sized image and then save the whole thing as a picture.

What program is best for doing this?

I have tried using Word but when I copy and paste from Excel the table gets all messed up, it automatically changes column widths, the font size and font spacing. I've tried pasting as text only but weird stuff still happens

Using office 2010.

Any ideas?

You can paste the image into excel, or paste the table into word but paste it as a picture and not as a table (it won't be editable obviously).
