[SOLVED] Software to undelete file on network hard drive?

I have a small Buffalo network hard drive (XFS) that I deleted a folder from a day ago that had an important file in it. Is there any app available that will undelete the file? I would prefer not to have to remove the drive from the case and connect it to my PC. The apps I've tried so far don't seem to even recognize the NAS.

Any undelete tool will need to access the drive at the raw sector level. That is only possible when you remove the drive from its enclosure. A server only serves up files, not individual sectors, ie the file system is transparent.

First off, I will hope u have not written to it since.

Second, XFS, yikes, u will have to find an undelete Linux util that understands XFS.
Unfortunately, the drive has a auto-defrag protocol, so the file may well have already been over-written. But I'd like to try.

I tried this EaseUS pgm. for Linux drives, but it didn't appear to see the network. Maybe because it was the trial version.
