Software to work with Elgato Game capture to display Frame Rate

I'm looking for some software that would work with Elgato HD to display the frame rate from my PS2, Xbox, Gamecube.. etc.... Would anyone be able to help me with this? Or how to go about it? I've been looking and can't find a thing. I know Digital Foundry does it on HDMI consoles, and how they do it is confusing and wouldn't work for me anyway.

Which version of the Elgato Game capture do you own? I don't think such a software exists(for freeware at least) and that the overlay doesn't accommodate for FPS monitoring on devices like console gaming. If you're on your PC, there a couple of ways:
