I didn't receive ANY DISC OR BOOKS with my BRAND NEW computer.
It shows when I click start -all programs that I have Microsoft Office and
Works,but when I click on them it says they are digitally signed but still
asks for the numbers off the discs which I don't have and never came with my
Sony FS-550.
This is a brand new computer right out of the box. Does anyone have any
suggestions?

Is there a folder or file containing this info?.. look for a desktop icon
that might lead you to something.. you might want to check the box again..
if there really was absolutely nothing, not even the Sony 'Welcome Mat',
then it is a very poor showing on the part of Sony..

This is a link to the Sony site where you can download a manual and the
'Welcome Mat' for your laptop.. I couldn't get the manual to display, and
the Welcome Mat is as much use as a chocolate teapot unless the user is a
complete moron, but you may have more luck than me.. it is in pdf format, so
presumably your laptop has Adobe Reader installed.. failing that, call
Sony.. and don't spare colourful words.. they deserve to be told straight..

Go back to the store from which you purchased it and ask for the
manuals and disks that accompany the computer. Why'd you even leave the
store without them?
