I cloned my hard drive in order to put in a larger one, but retained the smaller one in the PC. Some folders on the Original hard drive refuse to be deleted. Including the SoftwareDistribution folder which I believe is related to Windows Upgrades. How do I instruct my Win10 pc to start using the SoftwareDistribution folder on what I would consider to be my main data drive, and while I am at it. Why isn't the Software Distribution folder on my Drive where the Windows system is located?

Solution
Right-click the drive with that folder -> Properties -> Disk cleanup -> Clean up system files. That will delete the contents of the folder. That's the Windows way. Another way is to boot something like Linux Mint, it will delete anything you want.
