[SOLD] Tips on Selling i5-6600K

I've been going over and over if I should upgrade to a 6700K, and since Kaby Lake came out, I think it's time to jump on it while it's still relevant. It's only $313, and I hae a $30 promo code, so I would be a fool not to jump on it.

Now as far as the 6600K, I could use craigslist, but a lot of people try to low-ball you. I don't really like doing eBay as our past isn't the best. Is there any other way to get rid of it? I could just keep it and give it to my wife, but she has a 6500 already on a B150 motherboard, so it's not really a good thing to upgrade. She only uses it for light computing anyway. Just some suggestions would be nice. Thanks.

Sell it on craiglist but call on your inner salesman.

Title: 6600k good as new in box

I have used the 6600k for x amount of time, never oc'd it and have just upgraded to the 6700k.
I now don't need it anymore and therefore I'm selling it.

Amount you want
Bidding option
Not sold for any less than (make it 10$ higher than what you want).

Eventually someone will come close to your advertised price and you then tell them I want it for this price they say best I can do is this. You shave of that 10$ you actually never really wanted and boom sold.

I usually use ebay for that type of stuff. But it is a pain, usually you have to wait a week or so after the package get delivered before they will release the money unless you are a ebay trusted seller, you have to give ebay a cut for everything you sell I forget how much and you have to deal with the possible frustration of somebody wanting to return it for a refund.

Craigslist works but you will usually have to be patient unless you live in a heavily populated area. And you have to deal with people face to face.

You could try selling it on here, there is a classifieds section, never tried it myself.

I will look at Craigslist. I feel like a hypocrite because I always recommend not to buy second-hand parts, but we will see. Will look on eBay and see what's the best price offered. I'm going to sell the cooler as well, so I think $150 is a great deal for both, since it will be only a $50 lost to me.

Also will look on here and see what it is all about, wasn't aware of that. I live a populated area, kinda. It's down town OKC, so it's pretty busy. Used CL before with other things, just not like this. Thanks for the tips guys.
