I am looking to build something to game, edit videos and work on podcasts. I am also hoping to build something that will last a couple years without an upgrade needed. Also I am curious is it possible to run two monitors while gaming on one and doing something else on another? Anyway any tips are appreciated. If you know of parts that I can go cheaper on but not lose quality that would also be nice but I do not wish to sacrifice quality for a couple bucks.

If you plan on running dual monitors you want a card with more VRAM than that 1gb gtx 560ti. Also that Antec case lacks front USB 3.0 ports, and it's narrow. Anyway here's a build that allows you to add another one of those cards later on, and it includes a 128GB SSD and Windows 7, not to mention a quicker and larger h/d.. It's all quality components.

I agree with Why_Me, get the 128GB. It's not only twice the space, but also much faster. The rest looks good.

Brent, if you have a friend giving you advice on this build...don't listen to that friend anymore.

I wanted to stick a board in that build that had the front USB 3.0 header seeing how that case has those front USB 3.0 ports. I could have used the Z68 extreme4 gen3 I guess at $200.

What gets me is why doesn't Asrock put a board out identical to the extreme3 gen3 and stick a front USB 3.0 header on it and charge like $150 - $160. If they did it would sell off the hook.

for most people the back usb 3.0 is enough. i rarely used mine and it was restricting airflow (I know it was a tiny bit but i have an overclocked 560 ti with a reference cooler) so i took it out and im fine with having to climb back once a month.
