Solid CPU LED, not POSTing.

So I built my custom PC after a few months of research and picking parts up slowly. I finished building it today.

Upon going to start it, about a second of power and nothing. Tried it again and noticed the red CPU LED on.

So, I checked connections and tried it once more. Same deal.

I took everything apart and started breadboarding. Just did the 20+4 power to the motherboard and the CPU installed. Push power and, yeah, 1 second of power and CPU LED.

Tried it with the CPU power 4+4, tried just a 4 on one end, am the other 4 in the other end. No dice. Also added a stick of RAM and nope.

So, thinking the motherboard may be damaged, I went and purchased the same model and just tried the CPU and 20+4 power cable. Red CPU light. Added a stick of RAM and still the same.

Also, no BIOS codes.

I've built PCs before; 4 to be exact. It might be the CPU at this point. Any suggestions to this problem are appreciated.

You say you have a Z370 and a 7700K -- Is that correct? The two are not compatible. A Z370 needs an 8xxx CPU and a 7700K needs a Z270 motherboard...
Hm. That may be the culprit.

I purchased both the processor and motherboard as a package deal. Weird that it would be sold that way if it isn't supported.
