Solidworks, CPU, or GPU

Dear Community, i am building a workstation rig for someone, and i need to know whether for designing and rendering in solidworks, whether it is cpu, or gpu intensive. Thanks in advance.

The CPU is important but not the entire story, a suitable graphics card is also vital for good workflow:

Expensive as they are, sometimes you have to go for a professional card for both performance and stability.

I'd just get the recommended FirePro. As a workstation build, you don't need anything more.
