Question Solidworks Workstation

Hey everyone,

I have these two systems quoted for a new solidworks workstation. One is aa AMD build other is an Intel build. Pretty similar otherwise. Any input is appreciated. Thanks.

I would go with threadripper, over a 9700k. If you can, I would wait a bit, as the R9 3900x will also be a 12 core, and will be cheaper than a threadripper cpu.

Any idea when it is supposed to be released?

Ryzen 3000 family, up to the 3900x, is supposed to launch July 7th. The 16 core 3950x will be in September.
