Solution control panel in Windows Vista

Hello,
pls can someone help me out , my vista Home premium is having a problem, a cant access the control panel through the start menu, my adobe pdf files, my security centre and some few others, it displays infomations like " Application cant be found" or " the shut cut to the .exe has been moved, dose not exist" . I have tried the information i sow here but it wasnt working , its saying " Win32 dose not recognize it.

I'd advise running a scan for malware or viruses as nothing should really be altering the shortcuts for Control Panel icons. When you say for example your PDF files - do you mean you double click on a pdf file and it says application cant be found?

If so, does the icon display the read square with the Adobe Icon?
