Solution for inverted images

I was trying out different monitors and i noted that when i swap a CRT with an LCD monitor the screen image is inverted. Anyone with an idea of what could be the problem?

On the keyboard, press and hold "alt" + "ctrl" keys, and at the same time press the navigation arrow keys until the picture is right way up and right way round.
