Discussion [SOLVED] Banner ads showing on desktop and mobile phone but not on two laptops ?

How can banner ads for a site be showing on my desktop and mobile phone, but not on my two laptops? I realise how crazy that sounds but this is how it was or is. Anyone have any ideas why this would happen?

Thanks for helping. What I meant was that I could see banner ads on a certain site using my desktop and mobile phone, but not on my two laptops which didn't make any sense, especially as they all had the same version of windows (except the phone) and the same browser. I'm now ok however, it turned out that opera had to be updated, but at the time I didn't know what was going on.
