Hi Everyone! I bought a new hard drive last night. Unfortunately today the power went out and I would like to know if from these results my hard disk has had problems or not. Can someone help me? Thank you.

I'm afraid the power surge that shut down my pc may have caused some kind of damage

Looks fine...use it.

No problem. It says good. Worry when it says caution or bad.

Also no bad sectors or any other errors. So you are fine.

But still backup as any drive can fail. With or without any errors. But you drive seems okay to use at the moment.

During a sudden power loss, if you have a halfway decent psu, your drives will not suffer any damage. You won't loose any stored data.

About the only thing that'll happen is current accessed data can be corrupted. Not because of the power loss causing any damage, but because current accessed data might be in the process of change and only a partial amount of change happens before getting stopped.
