Hello folks!
I think I screwed up when setting up Windows.
So when I was buying a new computer, I kept my old HDD (E: ) but installed Windows on a SSD (C: )
Windows set up all the users folders on C: of course. I moved them and merged them with my old Windows install, set the path for documents for example from C:/users/C-user/documents to E:/users/E-user/documents
and it worked like a charm tbh
but now I encountered the second game that wouldn't launch/crash immediately. I was kinda baffled and tried everything. when I set up a second user account however, both run perfectly there without any issues
for the alternative user account everything is set at C:/users/alternativeuser/documents and there is a folder the game created in their
however on my user account, there's no such folder in E:/users/E-user/documents so I think this is why it crashes
could it be that the game can't create a folder there because the user account is called differently than the path of my documents-directory?
if so, how do I fix this?
any idea would be much appreciated
sincerely yours
