Hi, my laptop doesnt like to start beyond the message to press esc to go to bios setup when my hdd or ssd is connected, but everything is working fine last time i used it.

the cable is lost, so cant put any hard drive or sata ssd on it, the ssd is a sata one, not nvme

How do you know that this was for an external drive?

Is the HDD still in the laptop?
Does it have Windows 10 on it or some other Windows?
Does the HDD work OK?

1: no, i removed it because it doesnt post anymore

If the HDD works then put back the original OS then your laptop might work properly again.

It doesnt even Boot up or post anymore, this laptop is braindead

Why?
You have no drives that work. That doesn't mean that your CPU doesn't work.

Update: it now works, apparentlyy, its a CPU problem, everthing works, case solved
