just how I fixed my headset with a lighter (easy but just in case).
Several people had the same problem, it's a very breakable headset but also a good one (I think) and Corsair warranty is really good (but you have to pay the shipping cost).
Here the history of it :
02/07/2011 - I've bought it (Corsair HS1)
24/02/2012 - 1st problem (RMA, corsair send me a new vengeance 1500)
13/02/2013 - 2nd problem (RMA)
08/12/2014 - 3rd problem (no warranty anymore)
