[Solved] Crosshair VI Hero Boot stuck at BIOS

So I just got a new motherboard (crosshair vi hero) and rebuilt my machine, same CPU, RAM, SSD & everything else. I updated the bios to the latest. The Gentoo LiveUSB boots fine and I can chroot into my installation (Gentoo), so all hardware seem to work fine. Also, BIOS works fine if I "force enter" by pressing F2 when the ASUS splash screen appears on boot. But when I remove the USB and boot as usual, it goes to BIOS on its own (which I never tried to enter). The BIOS looks normal (clock ticking and temps changing) but I can't use my mouse, and as soon as I press any key the screen freezes (clock stops ticking). The MOBO shows Q Code A9. What's wrong here?

Hardware Details:
Crosshair VI Hero WIFI AC MOBO
RipJaw V 16 GB RAM
WD Black 500GB M2 NVME SSD
Ryzen 5 3600 CPU
GT 1030 Silent Low Profile 2G Graphics

Welp, after mucking around in chroot it somehow works now... I started recompiling the kernel but couldn't wait for it to finish, then just re-installed grub.
