Question (Solved dead PSU) New computer getting power, but not turning on.

I replaced everything but my case, gpu and psu.

Here are my specs:

Cpu: Ryzen 5 3600
GPU: 2060 Super MSI Armor OC 8 Gb
Ram: 2 * 8gb 3200
Mobo: ROG STRIX B450-f
PSU: Seasonic 650 W
Storage: M.2 500gb + 1tb sshd
Case: Icue 220T RGB + 3 extra fans. (same fans in case)
Temporary storage: M.2 128 + 1tb hdd.

I will copy my old storage stuff over to new storage.


When i put in power cable, i see the RGB on my motherboard light up, the case also powers the USB ports. When i try to turn on the pc, nothing happens, no fans starts spinning or anything. PSU was working just fine yesterday.

Are the front pannel conenctors plugged in correctly?

yes, and are you sure they're plugged into the correct slots?

According to the mobo manuel, the motherboard it self and YouTube. Yes

you have to remember, sometimes those PWR SW cables are backwards and or upside down

you need to update the BIOS on that MB to work with 3rd gen ryzen
