Question SOLVED - European devices in the US

I just traveled to the US (Calcasieu Parish, Louisiana) from Europe (Hungary) and have my phone (Galaxy S6 edge) and laptop (Asus K401U) with me.

The question is:
Do I only need a plug converter to switch the plug endings, or do I need anything else, for example a voltage converter?

Their charger heads' inputs and outputs:
Phone:

Output: 9.0V, 1.67A OR 5.0V, 2.0A

The input voltage and frequency you list is compatible with US power. Just get an adapter plug.

For future reference, check the power adapter of your part. If the voltage range covers 115V and supports 60Hz, it'll work in the US with a simple adapter.

If you want to buy something to take back to Europe, check if the part accepts 230-240V, 50Hz.
