[Solved] Get get screen saver to work - Windows 7

I have a Dell Inspiron 620 and the screen saver was working and now it will not automatically start, any suggestions? tx!

Not sure if my reply went through.
I tried again several times, also called Dell. It is not a hardware problem. Of course they want $250 to tell me how to fix it!
A friend asked if it could be a virus.... I do have McAfee protection, so I doubt it is a virus (?)

Any suggestions?
