Hello Tomshardware community and thank you for passing by... Please forgive my english.
I'm here after a lot of reasearch and i'm kind of pissed off...
My GPU is at 50% Power usage for no apparent reason. Usually it's been around 11%, for some weeks it's 50% at all time.

I really dont get it. When i lauch a game like CSGO or BDO, my gpu seems to be working fine, no extrem temp, no crashes... But still, it really annoys me and i'm afraid something worst could come from that...
Here are some screenshots from Process Explorer :

I have been trying a lot of things... Like looking at AfterBurner while i shutdown my computer and then % power usage go down to 11% before the computer shut down, so does it means one processus is killed and the gpu goes down to its original idle usage?
I know 40C in idle time isnt that much but i'm someone who get worried fast and i really need my computer to work.
The first time i saw that was 2 or 3 weeks earlier. When i closed G Chrome, the power% lowered etc... I really dont understand. Now even if i don't have anything up the Power% stay at 50%...

I dont have any problems on games, but it really worry me more than it should.
If Tomshardware community would help me out, i would really be gratefull. Reformating my computer would really be a bad thing for me so i hope i don't have to...

Thanks to anyone who read all of that, and even more if you take some of your time to answer me.

Thank you, Tropik

Wow that is weird. I recommend you try running a Virus scan as there could be something randomly using your GPU for processing.
What is the usage of your CPU?

It doesn't seem to be too much of a problem as everything seems to be working fine with no crashes. I recommend you check your graphics card drivers , then uninstalled and re install your graphics drivers and see if this helps in any way. :)

I recommend uninstalling unwanted programs too! Hope this helps.

Hello extreametech, indeed you were right. I uninstalled my nVidia drivers and reinstalled them, and my gpu is working like a little kitty!
Should have done that weeks earlier lol!
I added solved in the thread tittle, but thanks you for the advice i would have loved to get weeks earlier.
