Solved: HP e9210t desktop

This system I looked at cases and I see a slight issue with a new case. The headers for the power and hdd are one piece connector. There is no diagram with labeling each connection. I looked on HP website under my model # all they have is the location of the headers no labels. Any ideas how I would figure them out?

I'm not sure what you're trying to do. Install the motherboard from this in a new case, or install a new motherboard into this case?

Ok yeah without that diagram its just trial and error. You can check the connector on the old case and trace the wires back where they go. Thats about the only way.

Other things you may run into, theres no port shield, the mounting holes may not align, and some HP motherboards use a proprietary PSU connector.

Yes I though of that last night sbout tracing the connections. The power supply is a standard type i replaced the power supply a month ago. I did not think about the I/0 shield i need to check the back.
